Dogs do pick up diseases and sickness from being in kennels, with other dogs who may not have current shots that are staying at the dog sitter's residence. You can find this on yelp.com. This is money out of your pocket that you do not need or want because of having to go to the vet for medicine. some dogs do not get along with other dogs and you see this at the dog parks. Who knows when another dog will set your dog off.
