Sara's Ark, LLC is a Pet Training & Sitting company. Sara has over 15 years experience training dogs in various venues (as well as a Bahelor's Degree in Animal Behavior), and 5 years experience as a Veterinary Technician specializing in small animal & exotics. We also provide exercise sessions, transportation & care consultations. Sara is active in various dog sports, such as showing & trialing, as well as being founding member and President of a local dog obedience club. She participates in purebred rescue, is a Certified Schutzhund Training Director & an AKC-Approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Her own dogs have been ranked in the AKC Top 25 2005, 2006 & 2007, and she has competed in National events such as New York City's Westminster Kennel Club among others. We use positive motivation training techniques as well as teaching you, the owner, how to communicate with your dog and set rules and boundaries. A well-trained dog is a joy to have around.
