Angels In DisguiseWinnebago, Illinois 61088 Contact: Karen Cedergren Phone: (815) 914-6696 Affiliations: AKC I believe it is unhealthy to breed a female more than once a year. I also believe it is important that the female be at least two years of age before she breeds. I believe a female German Shepherd should retire from a breeding program at about the age of seven. A male German Shepherd can
breed up to the age of twelve, at the discretion of the owner. My males have never been bred until
the age of twelve and retire much sooner.
Again, all of my breeding dogs are papered and OFA certified prior to breeding and must have a
score of Good or better before I will breed them.
