We are members in good standing of the GRCA, MFGRC & FGCGRC. During 2005 & 2006 Sally Anne served as a Board Member for the Mid-FL Golden Retriever Club. Sally Anne was awarded the Lloyd Kiernan Award in 2006 by the MFGRC members and Sally Anne was voted Member of the Year for 2007!
We are currently active with our dogs in the following areas: conformation, rally, regular obedience, and in the past we were very active in therapy dog work for Hospice House, we remain strong supporters of golden retriever rescue.
All of our own personal dogs WITHOUT EXCEPTION must be able to live together as a pack, we do separate dogs into workable groups when necessary for tennis ball playing OR in age appropriate groups. For example we do not let young puppies run with full grown adults as they may over exert themselves trying to keep up.
We believe strongly in upholding the true nature and temperament of the Golden Retriever, see below the quote pulled from the Breed Standard of the GRCA.
"Temperament -- friendly, reliable and trustworthy. Quarrelsomeness or hostility towards other dogs or people in normal situations, or an unwarranted show of timidity or nervousness, is not in keeping with Golden Retriever character. Such actions should be penalized according to their significance."
We sell our puppies to approved homes only, you must be able to come and visit with us we do not ship pups out of state without meeting you first!
