Remember no matter who you purchase from they MUST put a eye check certificate in your hand from an ophthalmologist- not the same as a veterinarian , a licensed board certified canine Ophthalmologist for CERF. CEA is related to collie eye but also effects several other breeds, we check all our puppies and all our breeding stock. Many are Normal eyed. We have DNA OptiGen tested for PRA, our dogs are non carriers.
Avoid those selling from street corners or parking lots, shopping centers or those that will not allow you to come to their home. Make your own inspection of their surroundings, adults and other puppies on premises. Don't blindly buy dogs that are shipped to you, check them out, visit their kennels.
