They are a small but very hearty breed; having almost no genetic predisposition to any health problems. This breed has hair, as opposed to fur, which makes them nearly odorless, hypoallergenic and practically non-shedding. Our pups are raised in a family environment, in my home, in the subtropical climate of Central Florida. If you have ever had a dog with flea allergies that develop into stinky "hot spots" or other bothersome skin ailments, you will appreciate their tropical origins. Skin problems and ear infections so common in other breeds are rarely a problem with the Havanese.
The Dam is a beloved family pet of Show Quality and the Sire is an AKC, HCA and CKC Champion. Both parent's have been CERF'ed and lineage has been clear for generations.We provide a firm base of loving attention, affection and socialization; both with other dogs and humans of all ages. These are the foundations for an excellent family pet. We also occassionally have some pups that we feel are of Show Quality-offering superior structure, temperament, movement and that special "show off" personality.
The Havanese is a wonderful, loyal companion perfect for familes or more mature households. This is a happy, little dog that is not nervous, yappy or aggressive in any way. They are great travelers, content to sit on the couch with you or actively participate in almost any activity. With circus performers in their genes, they are bright little dogs, eager to please.

All pups are examined by our Veterinarian and found fit and ready for placement within 10 days of leaving us. You will be required to have your vet check the pup within 3 days of his arrival. We guarantee the dog against any life threatening genetic diseases and have done all health testing of parents.
We ask for a 50% deposit along with a signed contract after we have selected your new baby. The balance must be paid in full before the pup leaves us. Although we greatly prefer that you pick up your pup, we can ship Air Cargo from Tampa, Florida. This costs approximately $175.00. Personal delivery may also be arranged. CoCo Cabana Havanese have been Hobby Breeders since 2001, excellent personal references always available.
