Laurel Valley is located in Central PA and we offer AKC registered Miniature Dachshunds in longhair and wire coats to approved homes as wonderful pets. Puppies are great with children and other pets, well started on housebreaking, and learning house manners. We are a small hobby kennel and we show in conformation, obedience, agility and rally at AKC and UKC events. We carefully select our breeding dogs to be of sound mind and body by testing and certifying thyroid, cardiac, hips, elbows, patellas, eyes (CERF), spinal radiographs, and temperament testing through CGC and Volhard Temperament testing. We breed only one or two litters a year. We write a lifetime guarantee for genetic health. We feed the Evo and California Natural foods. All the dogs are house dogs and the puppies raised in our home. The puppies are well socialized, receive their first vaccinations, checked by the veterinarian with a written health certificate, are well started on house training, crate trained, walk on lead, have been exposed to cats, children, and attended puppy kindergarten if age appropriate. We also offer stud service to approved females. We have AKC miniature long haired and miniature wirehaired health tested males available. We love Dachshunds and strive to produce the healthiest happiest puppies you could ever ask for. We also do rescue and occasionally have adult dogs available for adoption.
