Adair Shetland Sheepdogs is a small hobby breeder. Our shelties are active in AKC conformation, performance and therapy venues.We have been involved with Shelties since 1989 and are committed to the continual improvement of the breed. Our stock is health tested for the following: hip dysplasia, eye disease, thyroid, vWD and the MDR1 gene. Puppies which do not meet our criteria for show/breed prospects are placed into companion homes along with a written contract including a hereditary health guarantee, a spay/neuter agreement and AKC limited registration. Show/Breed prospects will require referrals. Occasionally, we have young adults which do not fulfill our expectations or a retired dog available for companion homes.
