This breed are WONDERFUL family dogs who are very hearty and intelligent and I expect him to be no different. Please don't get the Rat terrier mixed up with the Jack Russell the Rat terrier does have an off switch and enjoys quite evenings at home but can still turn it on if asked to do so.
