Buckeye is just over a two and a half years old. He comes from the Weaver line in Ohio (Mennonite) He is Black and Tan and he is the greatest. He is tall and thin and he is an active watch dog. He was naturally housebroke, very active and can jump or climb a fence with ease. He is lithe, happy and eager to please. He will come inside but wants to be outside to guard our home. He is the perfect "gentleman." He barks at strangers and keeps predators away. He is great with children, patient and affectionate. He had to be broken from naturally herding his people. He is registered with the UKC.
Rose is 2 years old. She is more solidly built. She is clear sable, from Judy Hughes in Texas. She was naturally housebroken and loves to be inside with her 'people." She is very territorial with other dogs and she considers herself "top dog" and Buckeye gives into her. She is good with children and her "people' however, she finds young guinea keats delectable. She is obedient mostly but sneaks out to catch "birds." She naturally herds as well. She is a homebody and she will wander out following other dogs but does not seek to escape on her own. She is registered UKC.
Rose is very protective, friendly, calm, and would love to be a house dog if we let her. Buck is much more active, and is extremely smart. We have a shop in the woods on our property. When I go out there in the middle of the night, Rose will follow me out there, walking right next to my legs the whole way. Buck will take a short cut and wait for me at the door.
We are located in central Oklahoma. We can ship puppies to anywhere Continental will fly. It will cost from $200 to $300 to ship a puppy in the continental US, depending on the weight.
