If you're looking for the top-of-the-line dachshund, this is your boy! He is AKC champion-sired and a fantastic mix of of friendly, happy, investigative, and playful. He enjoys wiggling, running back to give you kisses, and bouncing around some more. =) He has a gorgeous coat of near slate grey with undertones not seen on many dachshunds, plus cream points with a little brindle showing. He may also carry for chocolate and (safe) real dilute. He really is one of a kind — you won't see another like him. His parents and some grandparents and great-grandparents have had many health screenings over the years, one with a genetic screening for ~150 different disorders, so he is expected to have a normal spine, normal knees, normal eyesight, etc. He should end up around 10-12 pounds as an adult. Born on March 30th, he will be ready to go to his new home on Wednesday, June 1st, at 9 weeks of age. He has had his dewclaws removed, and when he leaves, he will have been fully vet checked, have had a veterinary ophthalmology screening, be up-to-date on his vaccines and dewormings, come with a health booklet, information packet, and multiple health guarantees including a spine guarantee and a lifetime CDA guarantee, and, if he is intended as a pet only, he will be neutered.
