Don't let our Fairmount address fool you. We are located 18 miles north of Canton's Riverstone Parkway, plus we offer a Shuttle Service to all of Cherokee County, from your door to our Kennel and back again. (see Rates)
All of our staff members are devout animal lovers and owners so understand the concerns that pet owners have. Please feel free to ask questions or solicit information from any of our staff without reservation. They will respond honestly and openly.
The owners of A Home Away From Home not only have many of their own extended family (4 canines), they also reside on the premises and have over 25 years experience with Boarding Kennel Operations and animal care.
Our Canine enclosures are large, secure and offer both indoor and outdoor access for your dog. Our staff is extremely diligent in maintaining a sanitary environment for your dog. All occupied enclosures are thoroughly cleaned of waste and hosed down twice daily. If a dog will be staying with us for more than 1 day and a blanket is brought with them to comfort them, we generally will wash it every other day at no cost to the owner.
