An excellent reference tool for anyone who really wants to know what bassets are SUPPOSED to look like (not those pathetic examples in most calendars you buy at Borders)..proper structure and pay close attention to the AKC standard....If you own a basset...check your pedigrees...if you have a well bred dogs, there will be names in this book you'll recognize.
Pricey for the average person, but should be a reference tool for anyone serious about bassets.
