We raise these fine creatures for the love of the breed, and in a pack environment. They are part of our family and we don't offer adults for sale.
Our pups are well socialized and we want to see them go to loving & responsible homes. We raise them for temperment and beauty and to share with others that have the love of the breed that we do.
We are a small kennel and intend to stay that way. We have raised Mal's since 1969.
The Malamute is too fine and distinguished a breed to be changed into anything but what centuries of adaptability to it's environment have produced. Our efforts should be to breed not only beautiful Malamutes, but as good specimens physically as were originally found in Alaska. It isn't a question of breeding a better Malamute, but as good an Alaskan Malamute.

I have but one concern for the dogs in my pack and the pups that I raise; and that is they grow up hearty, healthy and happy lives the way nature intended them to live.
Alaskan Malamutes are a working breed, and are most happy and content side by side with their human families. They thrive on companionship, the great outdoors and vigourous excercise.
That is not to say that many have not found their way as house dogs. They are probably some of the best dogs to have around children as you will find.
This human/dog bonding goes back some 20,000 years when the children of the Malemuhit people raised the puppies. Thus the inherent temperment within the breed. But as with any dog, reputable breeders that guarantee temperment in their lines are a must.
AKC certification is no guarantee of a quality dog!
