These strongly built dogs stand 18 - 20 inches, and 17 - 19 inches, respectively for males and females. The coat is long and shaggy, and the coloring can range from black to gray, to sandy patches with white. the colors tend to fade as the dog matures.
It is important that these dogs are well trained. Failure to train them properly can result in the Polish Lowland Sheepdog dominating its owner.
They are loyal and affectionate toward their masters, but tend to be wary of stranger. Socialization as a puppy is important. |  |  |  |  |
