 |  | | General Information | The Bull Terrier was developed in England and it is closely related to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
The Bull Terrier usually stands 20-24 inches at the withers and weighs 45-70 lbs.The coat is short, flat, harsh to the touch and has a slight sheen to it. The color of the coat is white though markings on the head are permissible.
The Bull Terrier is usually a loyal family pet, but has a stubborn streak and obedience training is a necessity. They love the company of family members, but are generally distrustful of strangers and animals they have not met before. If socialized from puppy hood they will usually get on well with children and in the dogs in the household.
