Sarge is a lemon and white Basset Hound. He is about 9 months old. We have had him since he was 7 weeks old. He is so sweet and loving just like the basset breed. Sarge is CKC registered. He loves to play ball and snuggle on the couch if you let him. We love Sarge and hate to find him a home but we have a 9 month old baby and with our other dog it's just getting to be too much work for me. Sarge has been around our little girl since we brought him home and is great with her. He will lay next to her while she pulls and tugs on him. I will only let Sarge go to the best home and I am asking a $275 adoption fee for him. That is what I paid I don't wish to ask anymore than that. Sarge is on heart guard and frontline monthly. I have lots of pictures at your request. If you have a great home for him and room for him to play in the yard, please e-mail me. Sarge is also housebroken and sleeps in his crate at night by his choice.

Basset mix puppies born March 10th. 5 males, 2 females. Pups were born in the house and we've been handling them from the beginning. Mom has been more than cooperative, she's been fabulous about us "helping" her! These will be real "people" dogs. Dad is a basset mix, mom is retriever mix. Hoping for short legged, long haired pups, but it's too soon to tell! Right now, they all look the same. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks before I post pictures. It's like a newborn baby, they all look alike. We're in the Atlanta Metropolitan area, west side, 15 miles past Six Flags. Mom and Dad both very sweet tempered, good with kids, and playful. Mom is very smart, figured out how to open a screen door within 6 hours of rescuing her from the pound. She is about 40 pounds, not much heavier than Dad, medium hair. Dad typical Bassett, lovable and stubborn, but his ears are not VERY long! Pups should be ready by early May.
They're starting to wrestle and play now, growling and barking. They remind me of 2 year old children. They nibble on each others ears and mouths. They pounce and fall. They're hilarious. 3 have been adopted. There are 3 males and 1 female left.
