Dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, more! ***Your pet becomes part of my family when it stays with me!**** Pet sitting or walking your dog available in the Western Suburbs. (I live in the southern part of Glen Ellyn---my house backs up to the Morton Arboretum.) Not sure if I travel to your area? Please ask! I travel to most Western Suburbs and I will also travel to pick up and drop off your pet for care in my home. All pets including all dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, ducks, chickens, pigs, rats, and other exotics are welcome. No animal is too much trouble or too challenging! I have my BS in Wildlife Science from Purdue University and I am a former wildlife rehabilitator caring for injured and orphaned wildlife for 20+ years with extensive veterinary technician work. Our facility cared for over 8000 injured and orphaned animals each year. I have also done lots of pet sitting for the past 25 years, both in my home and in the client's home. I have also been an animal keeper at the Brookfield Zoo and currently teach a 3 credit hour class at the College of DuPage on caring for wildlife in captivity. I have owned pets including dogs, parrots, reptiles, cats, fish, rats, amphibians, and other small animals my entire life. However, I currently do not own a dog or cat, leaving room for your pet to stay in my home. I am available to come to your home or your pet(s) may come and stay in my home. My 1/2 acre yard is fully fenced and backs up to the Morton Arboretum. I am conveniently located off of I-88 and I-355. You are more than welcome to visit and see the house, yard, meet me, my family, etc. No problem! So, if you're looking for a dog sitter, cat sitter, bird sitter, etc, please contact me!
