Since 2008 Happy Hounds has been committed to giving your dog the absolute best care, whether they are here for a day of playing with their canine friends, sleeping over in one of our luxury suites, or just a quick dog wash. We appreciate that our customers trust us with their dogs, and do our very best to make every dog who comes through our doors as comfortable as possible. What makes Happy Hounds different? * We offer Longmont’s ONLY luxury boarding. Each suite offers a comfortable, home-like interior (not stainless steel and concrete or chain link fencing). Flat panel televisions, platform beds and warm lighting help your dog feel more ‘at home’ while you are away. Our limited number of suites allow us to take better care of our guests. We are happy to accommodate special diets and any medications your dog might need. And as always, onsite overnight supervision is included! * Our daycare is designed with the health and safety of your dogs in mind. Rubber flooring (inside) and pea gravel (outside) in our play areas is easier on their joints and paws. Outside fencing that is not climbable (unlike chain link). Inside and outside fencing with solid bottom rails so dogs cannot cut themselves playing or trying to squeeze under (unlike chain link). Every dog in daycare is temperament tested to ensure the safety of all our canine customers! * Our dog wash tubs are made of non-slip plastics, not stainless steel which causes dogs to slip and creates unnecessary loud noises that frighten them. We stock our dog washes with all-natural shampoos and conditioners for dogs with sensitive skin. Ramps are available for dogs who can’t jump into the waist-high tubs (and owners who can’t lift them). * Training clients are taught to start with the most positive methods of behavior modification and obedience training available to achieve the desired goals.
