Wildwest Shelties is a very small kennel in Arizona. I breed two or three carefully planned litters a year. I have hips xrayed, eyes checked by a vet ophthalmologist and get several genetic tests run or use only genetically clear sires and dams. I show my own Shelties in conformation and am occasionally available to handle Shelties for others. I've finished champions with AKC, CKC and UKC. I've titled a dog in herding, dabbled in agility, and generally just love having my dogs by me in the living room when I unwind for a day of work or relax on the weekend. My emphasis is breeding Shelties that are easy to live with, beautiful to behold standing still and on the move, and just plain fun to play with. At Wildwest Shelties, temperament and health are as important as beauty and brains.
I am a member of the American Shetland Sheepdog Association and the Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club.
