Sadie Mae is 4 years old. She has a Light Golden, soft curly coat. She was purchased from Sandy Ridge in Burlington, Iowa at 8 weeks old. Sadie is well house trained, she has never had any potty issues. She knows verbal commands and has been trained to use hand signals. We have not been as faithful in using the hand signals, except for when commanding “down” when she doesn’t really want to, it seems to really enforce the command and it works! She is currently familiar with the common commands of sit, down, off, come, stay and leave it. She is very smart and communicates well. This is a very hard decision for us. My wife and I are moving due to our health. We will no longer have a large fenced lot, no yard maintenance either. Sadie deserves to have an active family who is able to provide her with grooming every 3 month, walks, playing, and of course lots of snuggles. Sadie is very good with kids. Sadie and our 3 year old grandson play together very well. It is very amusing to watch them play soccer. She loves the oversized big balls! She chases them and rolls them just like she was actually playing soccer. Ball retrieving must be ingrained in her genes, because she has always been able to do that without any training needed! She loves toys and will need them to keep her busy and entertained. We have all documentation of purchase and vaccinations. She has no health issues. Her coat does need brushing to prevent any matted curls, I don’t do it enough, but with regular grooming every 3 or 4 month it has never become problem thank goodness. We paid $2,000 plus tax, provided basic training and maintained all vaccinations. Her crate, leashes, brushes, outside pet lounger, current bag of food, bowls w/tray and her current toys will be included. We are asking for $1500 and good home.
