My name is Layla and I am a registered Mini Schnauzer. My mom says I am 9 weeks old. She was going to keep me, but my older sister doesn't like me at all. As a matter of fact, she is quite mean to me. I don't like being hurt and bitten, so my mommy decided it would be best to see if there was a family out there that would be worthy of my love and affection. Just so you know, my sister is a 12 pound half pug, half pomeranian, so I've never been seriously hurt...but her bite does sting sometimes. I am a salt and pepper color (whatever that is) and everyone says I'm beautiful, especially with the dark tips on my white paws. My family says it looks like i'm wearing mittens. I am very friendly to everyone. I love other dogs, children, and even cats. I don't bark much right now, but that may change because hey...I'm a dog. I love my chew toys and I have yet to chew on anything I'm not suppose to. I have been using my potty pads and going outside for 3 weeks and hardly ever have an accident. Also, I am just about completely kennel trained. My next set of shots are due November 30, so unless I go to a new home soon, I will have those..no worries. Did I mention I'm double registered? My fur mom is waiting for the papers to come in any day now. Apparently that's a big deal. I love to sit in your lap and rest my head on your shoulder. Be warned, I am constantly under foot. I love to be with my hoomans! I am eating very well. I love Blue Buffalo puppy formula and I eat about 2 to 2 1/2 cups a day, even though the bag says I'm not suppose to have that much for my age. What can i say...i'm a growing Diva! When I'm grown, I'll probably weigh around 25 pounds..give or take. So, what do you say? Do you think i would be a great fit for your family? If so....let me know. Well, let my fur mom know because...i can't read and stuff. But she'll let me know!
