Puppy Headstart Training is offered to all interested clients, which includes crate training and basic obedience prior to delivery: Sit, Stay, Here, and Heel with hand signals, verbal and whistle commands. Gun dog, retriever and water dog training is also available to interested clients.

Private Personalized In-Home Off-Leash Puppy Obedience Training or Beginning & Intermediate Hunting Retriever Dog Training is available for Houston, Texas, area clients. Our philosophy differs from many other "professional dog trainers" who remove the dog from home and board during training. This can be hard on the dog and even more difficult for the family. We strive to educate our clients, no matter what age, in providing positive praise based training reinforcement with the dog and owner in familiar environments close to home. As master, you and your family are an integral part in training a well-mannered dog and working retriever, gun dog, competition companion, service dog or family pet. Hunters Creek Labradors are bred to master success at home or in the field. Client families have included children as young as 3 years old who have mastered canine commands within 8 weeks, utilizing verbal commands, hand signals and whistle training.
