Diiwikas Legacy Kennel is a breeder of English style Labradors ranging from 55-75 pound females and 60-95 pound males depending upon the dam and stud selected for each liter. Puppies sold are all descendants of the legendary hunting and tracking dog Diiwika. Originally purchased in sunapee NH Diiwika started off her career like many other labs, retrieving waterfowl ranging from large Canadian geese In corn fields to plucking woods ducks from the dense vegetation deep in New England swamps. At the age of 9 she was called upon to recover her first wounded deer and began the next chapter of her career where she rightfully earned the title of legend. In 2017 Diiwika began her rookie season and recovered 20 deer. with some experience under her belt she recovered and astounding 47 big game animals in 2018 made up of five bear and 42 deer. That season she not only shattered the NH state record by 17 recoveries, she would end up being the second most productive racking dog in the entire United States. She was second to only a 10 year veteran tracking hound. She beat out many other veteran blood hounds. She is now 12 years old as we head into 2020 and she is still a hard working dog in immaculate shape still doing five plus mile a day hikes. You will not find a more intelligent durable blood line of dogs than those available through the Diiwikas Legacy.
