Russford Labradors is a small family breeder in upstate New York. We are dedicated to producing healthy, even tempered, and beautiful companions that families can be proud to own. Parents have OFA hips and elbows, hearts, and eyes tested at a minimum to prevent genetic diseases. We breed the three true colors of Labrador Retrievers: Black, Yellow, and Chocolate.
Our versatile puppies are suitable as both family members and hunting companions, and we spend many weekends traveling around the country to AKC shows competing in conformation, rally, and obedience.
We keep a small number of dogs, usually 3-5 adults, and we occasionally have puppies available to select homes. Puppies are raised in our home with socialization from other pets and people utilizing some of the protocols from the Puppy Culture Program, and they are placed into loving pet homes on AKC limited registration (no breeding).
All of our puppies are AKC registered on Limited Registration, are appropriately dewormed and vaccinated, microchipped, have a head start to socialization and training, come with information on healthcare/training/care, a written health guarantee, and we remain a source of information and support for the lifetime of every dog. We have an open door policy that any dog of our breeding can return to us at any point in its lifetime.
