Handsome dark sable German Shepherd male available. Parents are hip/health tested and DM clear. Current on deworming and has had his 1st 5 way vaccination.
This is how he has been raised:
Pups have been started on ENS (early neurological stimulation) or otherwise called "Super Puppy" and will progress to Puppy Culture. I suggest googling it and build your opinions off of that or ask for opinions on it. At about a week old and every week until they leave, they will have their nails trimmed. Handled daily. At 2 weeks old, they will be dewormed with Pyrantel Poamate. 3 weeks old, as eyes are open and ears following...Continued stimulus. With different stimulus. As teeth start to emerge and natural weaning starts more stimuli will be introduced. They will be dewormed again with Pyrantel Poamate at 4 weeks. This is when the fun really starts for me. Increased stimulus and very short periods away from mom. Maybe start a little mush for pups. The basics of potty training begin.

As the puppies age, I continue to offer a variety of stimuli. I even stimulate their sense of smell and their brain by using puzzles that incorporate treats. This 1 amazes me!
I choose to use artificial turf to help with potty training. At roughly 4 weeks old, I will begin using these as well as begin with early crate training. This is done periodically at first, with short amounts of time alone. As they age, frequency and length of time will increase.
At 6 weeks old, they will be dewormed with SafeGuard x3 days in a row. Puppies tend to really enjoy the Pyrantel but when it comes to SafeGuard, now that's totally different but needs to be done.
Personalities seem to emerge at this point.
7 weeks old they will go in for their wellness exam and have a fecal done. They will be microchipped around this time as well. A 5-way shot will be administered.
At 8 weeks of age, they will receive Interceptor Plus chewable. It is a broad spectrum parasite control. They will be sent home with 1 more chewable to get you through until you can discuss a deworming and flea/tick program with your vet.
Upon pick up of your fur baby, after 8 weeks old, you will be sent with a "goody" bag. In this bag will be: a small bag of dog food that they currently are eating for the transition, 3 teething/chew toys, a new blanket that will have moms and littermates scent on it as well as hair...get ready for ALL the hair...an Interceptor Plus tablet, registration papers, microchip information/registration, treats that they are used to, a weeks supply of SureGro 100, it's a Calcium/Phosphorus supplement for large/fast growing puppies, 3 probiotic packets and a record keeping book that also offers helpful tips and information.
