We are an established breeder of Shetland Sheepdogs and competitor of the Shetland Sheepdogs in the conformation/ performance/CGC ring for 30 years. We are extremely dedicated to producing quality dogs that excel in temperament, soundness/structure, and type. Even though all of these qualities are of the utmost importance to us, we put extreme emphasis on temperament. We are breeders of lifelong loving companions, breeder of Champions and performance titled shelties. Our puppies are raised in our home from health tested parents: Hips(OFA), Eyes(CERF/OFA), MDR-1, vWD and DMS plus temperament tested. We use the Volhard Puppy Temperament test prior to being available for new homes so we may place them in the most appropriate home whether it be a companion, performance or show home. We are located near the Canadian border in the beautiful Thousand Islands on an 800-acre private property in this gorgeous area of the Thousand Islands. I have been an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen tester since onset of program. CGC classes and Testing (as well as S.T.A.R. Puppy and CGCU classes/ testing). Recently one of my dogs, Victor, and myself have started a venture in Therapy work with Alzheimer and Dementia patients once a month as well as a reading program at our local library. We encourage our buyers to keep in touch with us throughout the dog's life and are always available for any questions and help.
