Welcome. We are long-established AKC Golden Retriever breeders with over 51 years of hands-on experience. At Pine Trace Gold, we raise a limited number of litters so every puppy receives the time, attention, and early development they deserve. Our breeding program focuses on temperament, health, and the classic Golden Retriever look that families love.
All pups are born and raised inside our home, socialized daily with adults, children, and our resident cat (who believes she runs the place). Puppies receive early tactile and auditory stimulation — mouth checks, ear tickles, belly rubs, foot handling, classical music, talk radio, safe firecracker exposure, goofy toys, and remote-control chases. No quiet kennel here; our pups grow up confident, curious, and people-oriented.
Health and structure matter. All our breeding Goldens and / or their parents are OFA-cleared for hips and elbows, and DNA-tested for heart, eyes, bleeding disorders, dentition, and more. We breed for versatile, sound, healthy Golden Retrievers who become exceptional companions for families across Tennessee.
