Floden's Scout of Honor "Scout", who is co-owned by Jennifer Winningham-Floden and Kaitlyn Winningham, is a handsome, 3 year old , proven golden retriever son of T-Rex of Floden Farm. T-Rex is out of Trifectas Repeat Performance UD MH WCX *** OS VCX CCA CGC Can CD and Rippling Run Touch of Spice ** MH WCX OD.??

Scout's dam, Firesides Crossfire Shooter, is out of Fireside At Your Bec N' Call**, an excellent marking, hard driving bitch with loads of heart and desire that has ran the Amateur and Open. Scout's grandsire, "Push" became the only living Triple Champion golden retriever in December of 2009.

Kaitlyn has raised and loved Scout since puppyhood, and Scout has made frequent trips back to Floden Farm for extra training and family visits. He is father to some of Bella's most recent dual sire 2017 litter, and so far we have been very pleased with the pups from this litter.

Scout loves people, playing with toys, water and retrieving.

Scout took first place in rally with a novice, 13-year-old handler in 4-H in the summer of 2017, which earned him the chance to qualify at the Minnesota State Fair. He also participated in show and obedience at the county level.

Scout is a gorgeous, medium-dark golden retriever with a sweet demeandor that is energetic in the field, has a nose for pheasant, and especially loves small dogs.

Scout is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations and is brucellosis-free. Scout has all of his OFA health clearances recommended by the GRCA, making him CHIC-certified by the OFA -

Excellent Hips
Normal Elbows
Normal Cardiac
Normal Eyes
Normal Thyroid

Additionally, he is clear of PRA-prcd, PRA1, PRA2, and DM, and unaffected genetically of Ichthyosis (carrier status only).

Scout's 5-generation pedigree even includes NAFC FC AFC Topbrass Cotton FDHF OS.

Scout is raised indoors. A typical bedtime ritual for him includes saying goodnight, saying his prayers, finding his blanket and sleeping on the floor at the foot of Kaitlyn's bed. Scout has also been socialized extensively with other dogs. Scout is also crate trained, and is content outdoors part of the time in a large area to exercise if needed. But he really does prefer being with people and being played with.

Scout at Stud
Scout's stud service is available naturally or by artificial, fresh chilled insemination. Insemination collection is at the cost of buyer. Buyer pays for stud fees once pups are whelped and prior to AKC litter registration being finalized by Floden Farm. Four live pups born constitute a litter. Less than four pups will result in a prorated stud fee. Should no pups be born, there is no stud fee due. Buyer agrees to report the number of pups whelped within one week of their female's due date.
