Oliver, Ollie, is a pure-bred, 3 year old miniature black and tan dapple Dachshund. His mother was a miniature chocolate dapple Dachshund and his father was a miniature black and tan Dachshund. Both parents had smooth coats. I have Ollie's CKC registration papers, and his lineage information. Because he is a dapple, I would not recommend pairing him with another dapple because of the potential genetic issues occurring in double dapple puppies. Please inquire only if your female is NOT a dapple, or if you understand the potential risk to the resulting puppies if she is a dapple. There are no known risks associated with pairing a dapple with a solid cream, red, chocolate, or black and tan. Ollie is extremely loveable and playful. He is very obedient. He doesn't sleep ALL of the time, but he's so active that it's next to impossible to get him to sit still long enough for a good photo when he's NOT asleep. He loves his humans!!
