I was wondering if any Breeders may be able to help me. (Please be kind this wasn't my idea. it was suggested to me)
I am a Veteran with PTSD, and My VA Psychiatrist has suggested that a Service dog would help me quite a bit.
Unfortunately I am on disability so i have a limited income. But i would be able to take good Care of my dog.
I simply do not have the money for the usual cost of a "Breeder dog". Although the trainer said that i should try to get a Puppy,
to condition them to my life style from the beginning. She also said that It couldn't hurt to ask if there are any breeders that
might be willing to maybe donate a Puppy, and use it as a tax write off. I have my Letter from my Psychiatrist and his contact information if needed to prove that this isn't a scam to get a free dog. I Personally prefer big dogs, But it was suggested that I have a Large dog because i am a big guy, and my dog will also need to help with some mobility issues.
If there is anyone that might be willing to help me, I would be eternally grateful. And I will be happy to supply any and all information that you request to verify myself and my situation.
