I am a retired grandma in NW Illinois in a small town you've probably never heard of , Galva. I am a yorkie momma who loves my yorkies as they are my furry lil kids and they are all family not pets! When I was searching for my yorkie I wanted a hand raised in the home yorkie because they are so much more socialized and more advanced naturally on house manners and being part of the family. I had to drive 15 hours to find my baby and then I could see when I got there that yes they were in a home, but they were not taken out of pens and played with like they should have been,. I don't know how anyone could resist playing with the puppies all the time and getting all those sweet puppy kisses. That's when I decided I would raise just a couple litters a year the right way. This benefits some lucky family that gets a very special yorkie and I get to have puppy playtime and get my puppy fix so it is a win win! I am very picky on adoptive new families as only great homes will do for my babies and that is the only way I can part with them is to be sure they are going to awesome homes that will raise them as family like they deserve and are use to. I friend my new families on social media so I can watch my babies grow up. I love to see photos of them growing up and see what they are up to!

I help deliver all the pups and handle them every day and I naturally talk to them too. I give all my pups names the day they are born. My furbabies get loved and doted on from day one. Here you will find truly home raised happy healthy yorkies that come pre spoiled and so well socialized that it shows! My babies are not only beautiful, they have great personalities, great temperaments and are well acclimated to being part of the family. They are started on potty training , know many words and commands, some like to play tug of war, some like to play catch and some just like to cuddle and give kisses! I raise them the right way like they should be with lots of love, attention, play time, while teaching them house manners and about this big new world to discover. I do not allow puppy mills, pet stores, kennels or breeders to adopt my pups. I will of course work with other folks like myself that raise pups for the right reason...love yorkies and not love money! My pups are raised as family and only the best homes will do!

My furbabies will go to their new homes up to date on all shots, dewormed, and with a puppy goody bag. The goody bag has a blanket I embroider their name on, toys, clothes, bows, yorkie info, toxic plant lists, Good & Bad people food lists, puppy harness, food, 1 year health guarantee, and a lifetime of support. If you are interested in adopting one of my yorkies you need to fill out the puppy application. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your puppy until they are ready to go home with you. The deposit goes toward purchase fee. Please make sure you are 100% ready to adopt a puppy before you put down a deposit. A puppy is a big commitment and should be taken very seriously.

I do not dock puppy tails because I think that is cruel and their tails are not only important to them they are adorable! I believe God made them the way that is best for them and that is how my puppies stay! I do not raise them to be show dogs to live their life not allowed to get their long hair dirty and just a show piece. I raise them as family to be loved and adored like your children. Many countries have made docking tails illegal as it is cruel and unnecessary. Way back in the old days yorkies were working dogs used to kill rats. They docked the tails so they would not get caught or damaged in rat tunnels while chasing after vermin. Now days yorkies are spoiled members of the family and no need for docking tails.

I do not ship my furbabies because I think that would be way to traumatic for them. Going to a new home with a great new family is enough of a change for them to adjust to. I can only imagine how scared they must be taken away from the only family they have ever known, locked in a kennel, loaded into baggage transporter, put in a dark cold noisy airplane cargo hold, and left there alone for many hours with no one to comfort them. Nope! Not going to happen to my babies! I require all adoptive parents to come meet us at our home and let their puppy get to know you in their safe comfort zone. This is what is best for them, and their feelings is what is most important!
