The Dog Spot is Loganville's first doggie daycare/boarding/doggie gym/training/self-serve, full-serve dog wash facility. Owned and operated by Certified Canine Behavior Counselor, Joyce Keeton, The Dog Spot focuses on fun and learning for you and your canine friend. Dogs stay, play, and learn while they are at The Dog Spot. We use and endorse positive reinforcement and exercise to ensure fun and safety for all the dogs that use us. Our doggie daycare and boarding guests get to play with other dogs their own size and temperament and enjoy massages and games with our caring and dedicated staff as well. The Dog Spot offers 2500 sq. feet of climate controlled indoor space as well as 2500 sq. ft. of fenced in outdoor space for our guests to romp and play in. The Dog Spot offers both group classes and one-on-one behavior counseling. Whether your dog just needs to learn the basics or has a more serious problem such aggression, we can help! Joyce Keeton is a Certified Canine Behavior Counselor and has been working with dogs for 23 years. She has titled several of her dogs in Rally Obedience as well as shown dogs to their AKC and International Championships. Her knowledge and understanding of dog psychology and behavior helps her communicate to the human what techniques to use to solve their training issue. The Dog Spot offers classes in Obedience, Rally, Agility, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), and focus classes (Reliable Recalls, Off-lead Walking, Attention & Focus, and Distraction Training). Our 1250 sq. ft. indoor area as well as our 2500 sq. foot outdoor area provide plenty of room for a variety of training activities. Dirty dog? Come on by and use our self-serve dog wash. We provide the shampoo, conditioner, towels, nail clippers, ear cleaner, brushes, and blowers. You wash your dog and we'll clean up the mess. Now, that's a great deal! If you don't feel like doing it, we will do it for you. We don't offer full grooming services but for in between those grooming sessions, The Dog Spot's self-serve/full-serve dog wash can't be beat!
