Andrea Koehlert is from Minnesota and breeds Alaskan Malamutes.

We are two generations of Alaskan Malamute breeders located in Minnesota, and currently are a mother (Lynda) and daughter (Andrea) team. Andrea has been showing dogs for over 35 years.

We place great importance on training, competing and earning conformation, performance, and working dog titles as a way to challenge our dogs both physically and mentally, strengthen our bond, and to prove they meet the written breed standard. We’re passionate about the ultimate goal of helping to preserve the integrity of this incredible breed. We’ve built a reputable, preservation breeding program as AKC Breeders of Merit with the goal of breeding OFA health tested dogs who meet the breed standard and who have been proven — through evaluation and titles — to have the structures, temperaments, and drives that benefit the breed and contribute to the legacy of the Alaskan Malamute breed as a whole. The focus is on form and function, temperament, and versatility to produce the most healthy, stable, well-rounded, long-lived dogs.
